Jassy founded Amazon Web Services in 2003 with 57 people and in April 2016 he was promoted to the position of CEO from Amazon Web Services Senior Vice President. Andy joined Amazon in 1997 as a marketing manager. He then took Amazon Cloud Services, the cloud business of Amazon, to new heights.
He was seen as Bezos’ successor following the resignation of Amazon Consumer Consumer Officer Jeff Wilke for two decades. Jassy, 53, said, “You constantly make changes to stay healthy. You must always make changes. You must make tireless efforts to reach the right thing. You must know what is going on and what is not.”
